Cleared for Takeoff

If there’s one thing life keeps teaching me, it’s this: tomorrow isn’t promised, but today is wide open if you choose it.

For years, people have told me I should start a travel blog. I’ve always brushed it off with the classic “maybe someday.” But after over 80 countries, more passport stamps than I can count, some heartbreaks, a whole lot of healing, and a growing desire to live with intention instead of delay…I realized someday is just a prettier synonym for never.

So here I am – finally putting my stories, photos, lessons, and misadventures into a place of their own.

I’ve spent the last decade juggling a demanding leadership career, raising an amazing son, caring for my now-passed mom, navigating the beautiful chaos of adulthood, and learning the hard way that life doesn’t pause just because you do. Travel has always been the thing that recharges me, challenges me, grounds me, and reminds me that the world is bigger than whatever problem I’m wrestling with at home.

I’ve walked ancient streets in Europe, stood in the shadows of temples in Asia, explored coastlines that didn’t feel real, gotten lost in cities where I didn’t speak a word, and found parts of myself I didn’t know I was missing. I’ve had trips that felt glamorous, trips that felt gritty, trips that healed me, and trips that changed the way I understand myself and the world.

And I guess that’s why I’m starting this blog – to stop keeping the best parts of my life in draft mode.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Thoughts on choosing your life now, not later

• Stories from a woman who’s lived enough to know better and still curious enough to go anyway

• Insight from 80 countries and counting

• Travel guides that are equal parts practical and aspirational

• The real stuff – the funny moments, the mishaps, the magic, the “wow I needed this” realizations

Jetset Jule isn’t about running away from life – it’s about running toward it.

If you’re here, thank you.

If you’re dreaming of new places, even better.

If you’re ready to stop waiting for the perfect moment, welcome. You’re my people.

Now let’s see the world while we still can.
